Tameo to conduct the first World Bank Enterprise Survey in Switzerland

Quick summary
Tameo has been awarded the mandate to conduct the first World Bank Enterprise Survey in Switzerland.
We’re proud to share that Tameo has been chosen by the World Bank to carry out the inaugural World Bank Enterprise Survey (WBES) in Switzerland, marking an important milestone for our firm and the Swiss private sector. From February through December 2025, Tameo will lead data collection efforts, interviewing a number of randomly selected private businesses across the entire Swiss economy. We guarantee full anonymity for all respondents, and their identities will never be used in any public reports.
Why This Matters
This is the first time the World Bank is conducting an Enterprise Survey in Switzerland, providing the like-of opportunities for Swiss policymakers to access insight-driven microdata on the business environment. The results will shine a light on the perceptions of Swiss business leaders, uncovering challenges and opportunities both domestically and in the global marketplace. This data will be vital in shaping effective public policies that foster private-sector growth and efficiency.
Tameo's Role
Expert survey execution: Design and implementation of interviews through a mix of in-person and virtual methods, ensuring high data quality and representativeness.
Rigorous sampling: Working with a randomized selection of private sector firms to ensure national coverage across industry sectors and regions.
Confidentiality at the core: Maintaining anonymity for all participants, key to ensuring honest, robust input and trust in the findings.
The Path Forward
At Tameo, we’re honored to partner with the World Bank on a project that elevates Switzerland's participation in global business research. The insights collected in 2025 will inform both domestic strategies and the World Bank’s flagship business environment report, Business Ready, contributing to informed policymaking and stronger private-sector performance.
We invite all Swiss business owners and managers who are contacted to participate. Your input will help shape a more resilient, competitive, and innovative economy.
