Tameo joins ETH Zurich and SIFI in new research partnership

Quick summary
Tameo is collaborating with ETH Zurich’s Centre for Sustainable Finance under the SIFI Ecosystem Window to improve transparency and effectiveness in blended finance and impact investing.
Tameo is please to announce a new research partnership with ETH Zurich’s Centre for Sustainable Finance (Department of Management, Technology, and Economics) and the SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI), a Swiss-backed multi-stakeholder platform supporting innovation and infrastructure in impact investing. The collaboration, under SIFI’s Ecosystem Window, brings together research, data, and practitioner expertise to strengthen transparency and effectiveness in blended finance and impact investing.
Within SIFI’s broader objective of building a more transparent and scalable impact finance ecosystem, Tameo’s contribution focuses on applied research and market data to help address persistent barriers to institutional participation. The joint research agenda will examine:
How comparability, data transparency, and fund architecture affect institutional investor decision-making.
The design and performance of de-risking mechanisms in blended finance structures.
Bottlenecks to private capital mobilisation and investor engagement.
Opportunities to translate research insights into practical tools and frameworks for practitioners.
As part of the collaboration, Tameo will expand its market intelligence on private asset impact funds to include novel data on a set of blended finance vehicles, providing an empirical foundation for the research. ETH Zurich will provide academic leadership and convening capacity, while SIFI coordinates the initiative and supports implementation.
The collaboration reflects a shared objective to close information gaps and improve market infrastructure in support of greater private capital mobilisation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Further updates will be shared as the work progresses.
